The flight
Vlorë (Vlora) is where the Adriatic meets the Ionian Sea, and the hills behind the city make it one of the easiest places in Albania to try paragliding. We take off from Shashica, above the village of Kaninë and its castle.
In the air you look straight down over the city and the whole of Vlora Bay, with Sazan Island and the long Karaburun peninsula closing it off to the west.
It’s the closest flight to town, which makes it the simplest to fit into a beach holiday: meet us on the Lungomare, fly, and be back on the seafront the same morning.
