The flight
Mount Dajti rises just east of Tirana, inside Dajti National Park. Its summit reaches 1,613 m, and its slopes make a natural launch pad above the capital.
From the air you see the whole city, from the centre out to the hills, with the mountains of central Albania behind you. On a clear day the view runs a long way west towards the coast.
If you’re only in Tirana for a day or two, this is the flight to take: no long drive to the coast, and you’re back in the city the same day.
